Should I keep the run flats - recommendations?

I recently bought a mini with Michelin run flats 205/45/17. Do I keep the run flats or should I go to a regular tire?

I changed mine to regular tyres & the difference in ride quality & grip is massive on the 17 inch wheels so to me well worth the change

Switch to regular but keep a can of flat repair in the event of a puncture. Got rid of mine after going through 3 sets of run flats in less then 20000 miles.

Lots of posts about this already to look up but I hear 215/45/17's are better, the slightly bigger tyre holding better.

I am going to try the 215's ina few months once tread goes on run flats.

Could there be an insurance problem if you change away from run flats as they are standard from now?
