Runflats > then 'normal' tyres

Has anybody that needed to replace their run-flats gone with 'normal' tyres ?

Is there an FAQ on this.

I guess it's a real money saver option, but does leave you without a spare tyre or solution to being stranded with a blow-out.

I don't want a spare wheel or any clunk in my boot like foam etc.

To hear of any personal experiences would be great.

(I know punctures on the large part are down to fluke)

Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing...

Does anyone know if there are any self sealing (not run flats) available for any mini rims?

I doubt it. Self-sealing tires seem to be few and far between and geared toward the 'comfort cruising' end of the spectrum. About 6 years ago my wife had a minivan and I bought a set of self-sealing tires for it. As expected with the kind of tires sized to fit minivans, the tires were heavily biased to comfort over handling.
