Compact spare for MCS

I will soon need new tires and don't want runflats, but also don't like the idea of relying on a repair kit when I drive long distances. Is anyone carrying a compact spare in their MCS? Does it fit behind the seats? Have you found a good way to secure it so it doesn't roll around?

Nothing will fit behind the seats because of the rear window wiper motor. I've even tried a "donut" from another car.
Get a repair kit and don't sweat it. Plugs, mini air compressor, and "fix-a-flat".

Off course, if you have a SERIOUS blowout, you're in trouble, but I'd be less worried about my ride home in that situation.

One last shot is to find someone to make you a spare like I have in my Audi. The actual diameter of the tire shrinks down. You carry a compressor to bring it back up to size. Perhaps a smaller Audi might have a tire match (obviously not a wheel match).

Will Mini roadside assistance help out if you get a flat using non runflat tires?

If not, how about a AAA membership?

Just a thought,
