My new custom center caps

Had these made (thanks Macncheese) and affixed them, after a little trouble, with some Silicone adhesive. What does everyone think?

They're upside down.

Lookin' good, Paul. What're you planning to do with the other set?

Don't know yet. Maybe I'll get another set of center caps and affix them to those. Then on alternating days I'll switch caps. All joking aside I have no idea. They're nice sticker but they're cutom made to fix my specific center cap diameter.

Ha! But did you know the other car brand from BMW Group (Rolls Royce) has free floating wheel center caps that on the new model that always stay vertical so that the "RR" symbol is always readable? Even when the car is in motion. Amazing detail!

(BTW, I like the S caps!)

Thanks guys. I think they make the car go faster too?
Brucek, now you've done it, I've got to find a center cap on ball bearings.

They are acrylic domed stickers. I had them made to fit into the center cap of my aftermarket wheels. PM Macncheese he can hook you up. In my case I shipped my center cap to Macncheese to make sure the size was perfect.

Cheers,

Paul

SWEET!!! nice work!

I need to find some 60mm center caps (for TD Pro Race) that I can modify to look like the stock "MINI" center caps. Does anyone sell blank center caps? and the convex stickers?

Nice touch, but personally I think either the "S" in the center caps needs to match your side vent "S", or the side vent "S" needs to match the center cap "S".

I think I just confused myself...

6f7, PM macncheese, he can hook you up with what you need.

CurtP, the colour's of the "S" do match, they don't look like it in these pictures that's all. The flash of my camera makes the side vent one look orange.

Cool. Glad you like em.

The domed part isnt a decal, its actually cast right on top of a vinyl decal. I can make virtually any size.

$12 for standard vinyl
$16 for acrylic domed vinyl.

if your centercap already has a heavy dome to it, you're going to run into the same problem paul did and you might need silicon adhesive to hold them on.

Thanks for the info macncheese.

Now I just need to find a blank, flat 60mm (2 3/8") center cap. The search continues.

Macncheese,

I am interested in purchasing a set for my 2004 MCS which arrives in October (I hope).

I would like to find out more about these and how to utilize a custom design.

Can you help?

I popped my centercaps out & laquered them black with appliance paint.
I'd like to get small white "MINI" logo decals like the OEM wheels. The caps are flat.

Is the standard vinyl still an acrylic cast? or just a vinyl decal?
