I'm in the same boat, Pro Race 1's are in the mail and I need to start thinking about the center caps. Peter at Rspeed said that one of their customers found 60mm caps at a local tire shop, maybe an NTB, he was going to try and find the details. Are your Pro Race 1's relatively new, and you've confirmed that they are 60mm? I read something subtle about a change in the center cap design recently. In the meantime, Lowe's looks like my best bet, we do have them in NC. I have not yet looked but probably will this weekend. Searching the web, I found several electrical supply sites which carried Carlon. Here's one which actually shows this part: http://www.munroelectric.com/catalog/carlon/bodies.html It almost looked like they wanted to sell by the carton, though. Wanna make a carton of these? I'll buy 4. ;-) I'm not sure I've got the tools to do a nice job on this. I'll let you know if I find them at our Lowes or I may be placing an order. Later, Scott

Fitment issues? I've also got a set of the Pro Race 1's, that I dropped off at the dealership this week for mounting (they're 'buying back' my S-lites from me). The tech from the dealership called and said the wheel is 'loose' on the hub. She wasn't sure if it needed a hub ring or a wheel spacer, but felt it wasn't safe as is. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I got the 17x7", 4x100 PCD, 45ET. I really don't want to use wheel spacers if I can avoid it, so that I can use H-sport lowering springs and not have any rubbing issues. I'll also be trying to construct some center caps as well, once I can get them on the car.

They need hub centering rings, whoever sold you the wheels should have them. The mechanic is right, you shouldn't mount them without, they won't be centered properly on the hub. Scott

Just saw this thread--The part I described was a coupling for electrical conduit. I thought the part number would save time. I would assume that most hardware stores will carry electrical coupling. Also keep in mind that there are two versions on the TD pro race 1's. The race version (that I have) will not accept a centercap and you will have to make one. The second version will accept a TD centercap that sticks out from the center by 1/2". If you have the second, you could just get the MINI centercap decals from your parts department and stick them on the TD centercap. How can you tell which you have? The second version has a little raised "lip" around the centercap hole while the first race version has a mitred edge around the hole.
