Mille Miglia - MINI2

Anyone know the story on Mille Miglia wheels? I'm searching for a set of aftermarket wheels for my cooper and love the look of the HT3...however, i've heard some horror stories about minor potholes doing in 3 wheels at a time because the wheels are made incredibly soft. My bro has an A4 and he said a lot of people on the Audi forums have had problems with Mille Miglia in the past as well. Does anyone know if they are still likely to bend or is that an issue only for mille miglia wheels of the past?

I have had these wheels for a year on my mini apart from kerbing them there is no other issues
