United-Kingdom Changing the run flats 17 and effects on warranty and TLC

What effect is there for changing the run flats on the warranty and TLC package??

Hate the Dunlops. Want either F1's or Toyos

Cheers

J

I have toyos, as they are user-replaceable parts, like brake pads etc there is not a thing the dealer can do about it.

the only thing which could possibly be an issue is the mini breakdown cover - they may whinge if you call them for a flat, but they are just a recovery service, so they will still come out.

you may want to have a look at puncture repair/prevention methods - I have a product called punctureshield installed, www.punctureshield.co.uk - it seems to work okay - won't know until I get a puncture though - and according to that product I won't know then either!!!

Hiya Gary,

I'm assuming you fitted it ok then? Sorry I had to rush off at the Cotswolds run but I hadn't realised it would go on so long and had arrnage to pick my young lady up at the train station!

Oh should have added that I didtched my run flats within an hour of collecting the car from the dealers so I wouldn't worry about it, as GGary says the TLC doesn't cover the tyres any way, just make sure you have some tyre weld and a compressor in your car in case you do get a flat!
