Wheel sizes, pcd, offsets etc

Hello, has anyone got the PCD, Offset measurements etc for the Cooper S? I'm thinking about investing in a new set of wheels and would appriciate any help so i can work out which wheels will fit. I've always been under the impression that OZ wheels are about the lightest you can get except of course expensive magnesium alloys so if any of you guys know any different could you let me know?

I'm going to stick with 17's so advice and help would be appriciated!

Thanks

Nic

Yes, MINI2 does.

Check the FAQ section http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php? on wheels and tyres.

not true, the japanese manufacturers in particular (Racing Hart, Volk, SSR) make wheels lighter then OZ.

don't get coned into lightweight wheels, there ok for jap and us roads, but for UK roads a big no no you need something beeeeeefffyyyyy so it can stand up to our sha it road surfaces. most decent alloys with good tyres on them are going to lighter than the s spokes anyway. An ideal rim to look at is the compomotive MO these way about 10kg

its all about the GG (or in this case the uhhh SCREW)

I've got MO's on my Scoob... they do like fantastic in 8x18 but the 17's have only five spokes rather than 6 and IMHO don't look as good.

8x18 might be a fraction wide for the mini though

18x8 wheel will definately be too wide for the mini, you will run into problems with rubbing and tramlining will be a biatch! But as Nic was asking abouot 17"s it's kinda immaterial...

And yup want to avoid 18's simply for the tramlining!!

The best one I know of:

http://www.wheelweights.net/

Just click on Wheels by Alpha then use the search tool.
