New Tire Polls

I have received a request to do a FAQ which lists performance replacement tires by size. Shortly, I will be opening some new tire polls which ask MINI2ers to identify their tires based on size. I have "seeded" these polls using the tires which received votes in the following poll:

I've added Pirelli P7000 to the 215/45-16, 205/40-17, 215/40-17, 215/45-17 and 215/35-18 polls, as it seems to be popular in Europe.

This tire is only available for the MINI in the all-season [Supersport] version here in North America.

Can anyone in Europe provide me with the wear rating on the Pirelli P7000 ... is it 160?

please add in Kumho MX - these are the new Ultra High performance tire by Kumho and are a very good tire - much better then the 712s. There are a few 17" sizes that will fit the MINI - their 16" sizes have too high of a profile so you can forget about those. I encourage everyone to look into these Kumho tires....they are very grippy, fairly light, and affordable. Once I switch from 16s to 17s these are the tires that I'll be using.

The Kumho MX is available in 205/40-17, 215/40-17, 215/45-17 and 215/35-18.

In the original poll, only one person indicated they were using them ... you'll make 2
