| 205/55/15 winter tyres I've been offered a set of 205/55/15 or 205/60/16 winter tyres for free, and i can get a set of regular 15" steel rims gratis too. the million dollar question is will a set of 205/55/15 tyres fit on a standatd 15" by 5.5" wide rim? | Tell us what tyres and we can help you. Minimum rim widths is tire dependent. 5.5" is a bit narrow so it may be on the bubble for 205's. | I don't see any 205/55R15 Blizzaks on tirerack but their lists are not that complete. At any rate, the 205/60R15s listed 5.5" as minimum so they should work but 195/60R15 is actually closer to stock size. | Thanks Harry. I was having a trawl on www.tirerack.com too. and had come to a similar opinion, but i was wanting some reassurance!
