fitting s-spokes in the boot?

Hi All,

I'm replacing the 17" S-Spokes on my Cooper S on Monday with some new rims (BBS RK) and somehow I'm going to have to get my s-spokes home from the tyre shop...

If I take a bunch of blankets with me to cover everything, will 4 17" s-spokes with runflats on, fit in the back of my Cooper S? (with the rear seat folded down, of course)

Has anyone else been in this situation? Just curious as to what you did when you bought new rims?

Thanks for any info

Tim

I've seen it done, with the seats folded of course.

I got the tyre shop to come to my home. They fitted the new wheel / tyres to my MINI on my drive-way. Great Service. Or they were willing to deliver the "old wheels" home for me later in the day if I had gone to the shop.

and the end result? Well, I'm happy, but the car needs to be lower I think

It is much easier to leave the seats up, cover them and stand the tires upright...
