Spinning Rims

I know this is a stupid question, but I was just curious. Can you put those spinning rims on a Cooper?

Ther was an Auto show in LA last year which had a set on a MINI, I saw a Video of it moving around, and it sucked. Its not for 'tiny street fighter' like the MIN, but its ok on the big 4+4 poser cars and so called muscle cars.

if you do want them, i believe that they are made by a company owned by latrell sprewell (the basketball player). i think it is called spreewell racing or something like that.

nothing wrong with spinning rims. They are not ideal for road use, they are for show use. Look mean on a show car, but crap on a car driving down the road.

I'd buy em for chrome rims for the show season, but not for every day drivin.

I try to always go by the five year rule: Try not to do anything that if reminded or shown a picture of five years later will make you feel like an idiot.

Some of the more extreme fashion trends come to mind. Some things in automotive trends are not really different. Pick your comfort level to avoid ribbing from your friends later in life.

How does that work if you're still wearing the same clothes 5 years later? Or that mullett?

Those spinner things are in my opinion probably the singularly most stupid "fashion" accessory ever to go on a car, and there's been a lot of those over time.

Spinners are the new 3-spoke wheels.

The only car that was cool with 3-spokes are Saabs.

Yes.

But only if you fit Tyre Lights at the same time:
