Im considering buying some new alloys but cant decide what size to get, mainly due to the mixed comments about rubbing ive got from people, so just to clear this up, if you have 17s or 18s on your mini could you please state: Size of Wheel? Size of Tire? What suspension (stock or otherwise)? If lowered and by how much? what rubbing you have experienced if any? do you feel your new wheels have improved your mini driving experience? and maybe a pic if at all possible ![]() I personally think 18s look v good on a mini but dont want to get them if they completely ruin the driving experience. Thanks in advance, maybe this should become i sticky, could be quite handy for a lot of people? Just a suggestion

Have you looked here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/wheels-tyres-brakes/35500-aftermarket-wheel-gallery.html If there are any wheels you especially like - PM the owner - those of us with big wheels are always happy to talk about them

i know i either want to get kahn RS-S's or RS-R's in 17" or 18" but ive some people say 18s rub, some dont, from those with 18x7.5 and 18x8. So yeah any kahn owners; if you'd like to post your wheel/tire sizes and suspension set up that would be great Still think if people posted the above information it could be very handy or just added it to the wheel gallery?

The offset isn't required ... just the size, manufacturer and model, and a link to the picture you want featured. Also, I'm trying to update MINI Profiles with wheel and tire info, so please specify the size, manufacturer and model of tires your running also ![]() Your profile indicates you have 18x7 Breyton Magic Sport and "unknown" tires. Please send me a PM with complete info on your wheels and tires so I can update your profile

Go with the 18" look much better. As long as your offset is correct you'll be fine. Running 18 x 7 " 42 offset OZ rims tires : 225/35/18 - with H&R springs. You'll probably go with 215/35/18 as it's more common in europe. But best setup probably will be 205/18/40. But not many tire manufactures make them and hard to find... Cheers Cliff

I have run both 18" Hartge's and now 17" ASA on my car. The 18s looked so much better but the Hartge wheels won't work with some aftermarket spring setups (ie KW) without spacers. The Hartge's will not clear big brakes either. My 18s had 215 35 18 PZero Neros--great tires. I run Goodyear F1 215 45 17now. Not nearly the tire. Good luck, Brain MCS Liquid Yellow / Black
