3 runflats and odd tyre

May have been asked before but I can't find it using the search. But is it okay to have an odd tyre? i.e 3 run-flats and a different one. Was thinking of this?

I can't see why not, but due to the huge variation in performance between the two tyre types I wouldn't recommend it.
Why are you changing only one tyre???? Has it got unrepairable damage???

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

They said you're not meant to repair runflats when the faq says you can

Mixed sets are possible apparently.

Hi all.

I've just been shopping around for some new Runflats for my Mini and I've found this site :

blackcircles

In their test of runflats they quote that it is possible to run a mixed set of tyres but on no account should the same axle be mixed.

A bit like Cross Ply and Radial then eh?

So, that said an ODD tyre is a no no.

Steve.
