Hankook tyres - wow

Today i had my tired Pirelli runflat's replaced with the Hankook 104 sport's and they are AMAZING! they grip the road soo much better, give a better ride, dont tredmill like the pirelli's do round corners and are less noisey. I paid £280 including delivery and fitting. I would advise ANYONE to do the same - even the bloke from quick fit where i had them fitted said how good the tyres looked and what great value they are. He said that he would have charged me about £800 for replacement Pirelli's.

Excuse my tyre ignorance....

1. Are these for the 17" wheels?

2. Are they run flats? If not, do you now have a spare? (Are you legally required to carry a spare if you are not running on run flats?)

3. Do they have a cool looking tread!?! My Dunlop sports tyres (don't know their 'code' - may be SP9000 or something?) have really cool treads!

Hi,

Yes they are just standard tyres and not runflat's. The runflat versions seem to give a very hard ride, are a lot more expensive and if im honest, I wasnt that impressed with the Pirelli's grip.

The tred looks totally pukka! heres a pic

What sort of PSI should my tyres be incidently - i did read somewhere they have to be inflated at a higher pressure than what it says on the side panel of the Mini giving the stat's. Is this true?
