England Air for Tyre's on Runflats

Hi All,

Have look at the F&Q, and i know i have looked at my
manual, but what pressure should be in 17's with run flats
for everyday use?

Could i have it in simple terms,
ie 30 front 28 back.

Thanx Nick

Can't remember the exact pressures, and I don't know the PSI's but its something like 2.4bar

If you open the drivers door theres a sticker on the panel on the left

I think BMW recommend topping up your tyres using a special "run-flat air" that is available only from their dealers at an exhorbitant price. Using non run-flat air can invalidate your warranty. On the plus side they have spent millions developing this air to be 10% lighter than standard air to reduce unsprung mass and improve handling and performance.

Or just Helium?

LOL.

Now there's an idea - use the runflat tyres to store nitrous, fit your car with a NOS boost kit fed from them and when you've used it up you'll get a nice little warning light appear - your tyres are empty.

LOL, Do you have any prices? Will the dealer charge to fit it?

What about the gains with the JCW air?

It might be double the cost of any other aftermarket air , but it does ensure your warranty
isn't affected

I thought the runflats got extra thick air so it wouldn't run out, while the performace tyres got the light air.
