Offline | Getting wheel bolts off ?? Hi I have bought some McGard locking wheel bolts but on inspecting my teeny toolkit for the MCS there isn't a 'spanner' to undo the wheel bolts with. There is nothing under the boot carpet either (except a battery !). Do you have to provide your own socket set or am I missing something? Thanks Vron MCS JCW EB/B 210 Bhp lots of extras! ![]() |

Offline | If you have a MCS it should be in the bag with the jack in it which should be strapped in the boot - its hidden in the lid of the bag Cometh the Hour, Cometh the MINI |

Offline | It was added in September 2002. My MCS was built at the end of August 2002 so came without a glovebox but with a 12v socket in the boot. The next week the glovebox was added and the 12v socket deleted. My understanding is that as it was September (and a new model year) by the time my car got to the PDI centre at Doncaster they put a jack and wheelbrace in a black case in the boot. When the dealer handed over the car and opened the tailgate he was surprised to see it as it was the first time he had seen one on a MINI with runflats. Having seen URU's post I must get some McGards...... MCS JCW CR/CR ; MOD LY/B |
