There is masses of talk about wheels on this site. Can somebody clarify the situation for me?
Which ones are the Monza? Which are the Daytona? Etc…..

They are all listed in option packs etc, but in all the press photos they seem to have a variety of everything without really mentioning them!

And now for something on a slightly lighter note!

Alloy wheels – gor` blimey! Do we want more details!

What we need is a BMW spokesman, (ok! a spokesperson) or, maybe, even a holey person! (Or, is there a Rev limiter in operation on this board?)

We seem to be going round and round in ever-decreasing circles - before we know it, the tyre (tire) pressure warning`s going to go off! And then there`ll have to be changes, because we`re all gonna feel let-down!

Axially, I`m getting a bit tired (tired!) of this, we`ve tread everything to sort this out, we wheely have!

To my mind the worst aspect of it all, is, how can BMW alloy this situation to carry on? We`re going up the wall here!

Seriously (now!) – that lovely 7 spoke wheel, is it 16”, is it available, and if so when and how much?

See..this is exactly why we colonists let you guys go first. By the time we get our MINIs, BMW will actually know what the hell they're doing, selling, offering, etc. (yeah...right!)

Thanks Andy,

OK then folks, which one of these (grid references acceptable) takes your fancy?

I like the top right ones 16", and I like the 17" 3 down on the left.

Anyone else?

Paul;

The top right ones as well. In fact I MUST have those (and no others) on my Oasis "S". If I can't have them, I'll cancel my order (I'm #1 at my dealer) and kep driving my incredible 1994 Suzuki Samurai!

What's "our" five spoke beauty called?

Besides not having decided on 16" vs 17" (No, I don't mean to replay the thread that already exists on 16" vs 17" topic) I like the top two, and one that I saw on the yellow car in the Paris show pics.

I think the wheel is called Daytona and comes as standard with the Chili Pack.

I have these on order and have opted for white alloys. They should look fantastic against the Indie Blue although they will be a ***** to keep clean!

I also like the top left ones.

I like the top right, and the second and third down on the left.
I have also thought about just getting the cheapest ones, and then getting a set of Panasports. Anybody else opting for third party wheels?

I have thought of getting the standard wheels on the cooper and then buying my own alloys later. I don't want the chilli pack and have settled for the pepper. I wonder however, whether the wheels will an unusual fitting, as they could be. The problems with four or five holes etc. Lets wait and see. the 16inch 5 spokes are the nicest so far.

I like the wheels 3 down on the left. I can picture those white 17's on my blue cooper S. Yummy. I also like the ones on the top right as well. I am iffy on those ones on the top left. I wonder how they would look white.
