| Just to confuse you a little more MrMini, cause I have just been through it so why should'nt you suffer to, here is what I setteled for in the end and most of your other wheels were also on my shortlist. If not I voted for the Superlegra's but they are over £300 more than the TSW pace that I finally decided on, and in my opinion not worth the extra money, got mine from Mini Spares (ask for Simon) and they did me a cracking deal, also R-Tec sell them at a good price, with Yokohama Parada rubber. Good luck and let me know what you decide ??? |

I personally would avoid the OZ Superleggera wheels as they are a bit overpriced, reasonably common on Minis, as I've seen quite a few wearing them. I have a set of BK racing wheels, which I'm delighted with, and they cost me £620 through Autosport in Bradford after some hard bargaining! http://www.auto-sport.co.uk Theres pics of my wheels in my gallery. | If you're going for a 17'' wheel then I don't think you can go far wrong with scottybhoy's BK's - they look really good on the Mini, especially when lowered. If you do decide to go for an 18'' then I would go for the Dare X4's as modelled on Tony t3's 'S'. I recently did a group buy on these wheels, this has since closed but they will be availbale through West Tuning in around 6 weeks time Cheers, LB. |

| Have a look here for RS3 Fox's...... http://www.dy-tek.com/%5Cdefault.htm I have got Superturismo GT's and think they look the business, have a look in my gallery for more info.... ------> I have a Gen1 Works S and I'm proud of it <------ |

| I am in a similar boat with no decision yet on RS3's, Superleggera's, Superturismo GT's or R90 replicas. The RS3's are likely to be heavy, SuperT's and R90 reps are both about 20lbs and SuperL's the lightest but also the least attractive of a very attractive bunch. See the Routecompany thread on this forum for R90 replicas. ![]() Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs |

i would def. go for the RS3's. They are the sweetest looking out of the bunch and also quite rare on the mini's (from what i have seen). Supperleggra's are a wee bit too common and far too pricey. The RS3's may be a bit heavy but not as heavy as the stock mini wheels. Anyone got piccies of a mini with RS3's on? I know they look kinda similar to the Breyton Magic Sports..... Peace. B. |

| Hey All, Must say Wibbly, the Turismos on your MINI look amazing! Great choice! I think I've narrowed it down to the RS-3's, the Leggera's and the Turismo's - think they'll be shiny enough without the need for chrome alloys Unless my eyesights getting bad through lack of sleep or too much drink the RS-3's are almost identical to the Breyton Magic Sports - same number of spokes and both split rims, the only real difference being the finish and the hub design. The only reason I didn't opt for the Breyton's is because of the price Though I cant find a weight for the RS-3's anywhere. How much difference does weight make??? BTW how easy is it to replace the middle hub (the plastic bit) with say a MINI one. I love the Turismo's carbon hub but am not so keen on the RS-3's plain one that just says RS - reminds me of a Ford . Anyway that will depend on the final choice of alloy. Thanks for your help so far guys and gals, be great if you could keep the votes and ideas coming Pat |

| The Breyton's are 2 piece wheels which is why they are so heavy. The Breyton's are always as wide as you can get so the RS3's will almost certainly have no where near the amount of dish you see on the Breyton pictures. I've seen the RS3's close up and the quality of the finish is excellent, how long it will last I don't know. The RS3's, SuperL's and SuperT's are in your local Halfords Ripspeed section so they are easy to compare. If you buy the RS3's please weigh them with or without tyres if possible, thanks. ![]() Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs |

| Hey All Took your advise Steve and popped into my local Ripspeed today to look at my 3 favourite choices. They're all nice it was helpful that the SuperL's and SuperT's were right next to each other so I could make a direct comparison and I think I prefer the Turismos With regards to the RS3's finish its guaranteed under warranty for 3 years Still don't know whatt to do though ![]() Pat |
