Tyre replacement in Gloucestershire

Seriously thinking about ditching my 17" runflats due to a harsh ride and serious tramlining round the chronically bad streets of Cheltenham.

Anyone in the Gloucestershire area done this and can recommend a decent place to pick up a set of decent boots for the little fella? (and be gentle with the alloys....)

Comment on a good year round rubber welcome too..

cheers all

Dave

Protyre in Bristol are very good with prices and with alloys. They will even sell you a nice
set of flush valves. There is a Protyre in Gloucester but there is no g/tee they will be as
good but worth a try. If you can afford them Pirelli P-Zero are very good or Falken ZE-512
are a good mid-price tyre, both available in 205/45. If you change to 215/45 or 215/40
there is a huge range available, the best is probably Goodyear F1 GS-D3's.

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

Dave,

Protyre in Gloucester are good and are very competively priced if you haggle.

Ski Tyres in Cheltenham based near Waitrose are also very competitive, especially if you go for Toyo T1-Rs or Goodyear F1s. You have to order the Toyos in advance from both companies though.

HTH,

Henry
