| Changing the colour.... Knowing really nothing about wheels (rims/alloys), I would like to know - if I want to change the colour of my car's rims (5-star Rockets) - is it just a case of having them resprayed... or is a speciallity paint needed to do the job. I'd like to have them resprayed in a dark smokey colour. If someone has had something similiar done to their OEM MINI rims, can you post some pics... will be much appreciated! Thanks Pepper-Cooper  |

| I was going to do the same to my winter 5-stars. I wanted to have them powder coated an anthracite/charcoal-ish color. I got a quote from the local powder coater for $49 a wheel. I think its well worth the money. I don't think I've ever seen pics on MINI2, but I've seen some around. I'll dig.. I think I have them saved on my computer. back in action  |
