Offline | how have u done this?? well if the 18s are just right with only a little rub then the 17s should be ok?? wow nice one....is that price for wheels only? should be yeah...when i saw the price i thought...hmmm nice but then i thought, oh wait, still have to add the tires to that....*sigh* hahau've got on ur car what i'm gonna get...the wheels and the eibachs hahaha *starts to dream*...but i think the 18s are just a little big....want a bit more rubber so that my bottom doesn't feel so many of the bumps on the road!! hahaha i got an exhaust because i wanted to make my car sound fast, but its not fast at all, so therefore i am a ricer.... |

| MINI2 Regular | I'm not sure...coz I checked under the guard and there are no marks on the tyres...so my assumption is the tyres rub the inner part of the guard (plastic covers underneath the rear fenders) The price includes the tyres...it's a good price for a set of Italian wheels Eibachs and 18 is a good combination...the car sticks to the road better...but as u said..u can feel each and every bump on the road...I like it that way tho 18 is the way to go I reckon |

Offline | yeah that's definately a good price!! now i'm considering it long and hard heheyes sometime last nite after looking at ur pics and dreaming a bit i decided that 18s are the way to go too! haha but my gf might not agree coz i'm on standard suspension right now and she already thinks it's bumpy! ![]() so i'm wondering...if there are no marks on the tires then how do u know it's rubbing? u can feel it? hear it?? i did a little bit of web searching last nite it seems the silver HT3s are only available in 18s but there's the light grey colour which is available in 17 or 18 and the mille miglia sign on them is red...hehe looks good...but i think ur silver ones look better.....oh man decisions decisions HAHA i got an exhaust because i wanted to make my car sound fast, but its not fast at all, so therefore i am a ricer.... |

| MINI2 Regular | Yeah mate...18 is the way to go ehehe it's bumpy but it handles better ![]() regarding the rubbing...I can hear it..I think the reason why I cant see any marks is because the tyres rub againts the plastic part of the fender..I dont think this plastic thingy is tough enough to make marks on the tyres...and also there are no sharp edges underneath.. BTW my wheels are dark grey..they do look like silver in the pics...but they're actually dark grey..I've seen the silver ones but I reckon they dont look good keep me posted about the development aye ![]() |

Offline | oh i just looked at ur pics again and yes, indeed they are the grey heheactually i knew that, i don't know why i thought that urs were the silver...maybe i was thinking back to the gomini mag which had a CR/W cooper with the silver wheels and that looks great hehe so just got my mind a bit confusedand of course coz my car is CR/W as well so hmmmm hehe should i go for the proven good looker? or the one which i was thinking of....hmmmmmm and even though 18s look better and handle better 17s don't rub and in my opinion big enough....hmmmm decisions decisions haha yeah i think i'm leaning towards the grey as well...maybe in 17s...not too sure yet...also not too sure if i have the $2500+ haha also i have to add another almost $500 for the eibachs....hmmm.... i'll see what sort of quotes i can get down here teeheei'll keep u posted....but probably won't be for the next month or two though...finances are still recovering from the last few major spends which unfortunately weren't mini related but were gf related HAHAHA *presses send before gf looks over and reads* ![]() i got an exhaust because i wanted to make my car sound fast, but its not fast at all, so therefore i am a ricer.... |

| MINI2 Regular | your Mini looks absolutely stunning mate luv the wheels.. have driven it with full load? coz mine with full load the rear tyres rub the inner plastic part of the rear fender BTW...hows the ride? In mine..I'm feeling each and every single bump on the road..not that I hate it..but just for a comparison |

| MINI2 Regular | It looks silver in the pic because of the blitz effect I think.. If you wanna go with 17..I dont think it'll look ugly at all...it will still look good...just dont go below 17 :P I've been saving for a set of new wheels since a long time ago...besides...I sold my old wheels for a good price..so what I had to do was to save up for the balance.. BTW where abouts r u? do u go to uni? |

| MINI2 Master BLASTER!!!!! | Haven't had a full car yet, but did have myself and 2 other housemates, total combined weight of 270 ish KG, seemed fine. Ride is only slightly firmer, definitely have a better feeling of the road surface. Fortunately roads around my area are good, phew ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | well that's good then..whats the offset? mine is 40..I had 42 before and had no probs with rubbing... But I think 40 looks better coz it catches the fender so makes the car looks slightly fatter with firm rides...I think one of Mini's characteristics is the go-kart like handling and therefore comfort has to be sacrificed... so I believe all Mini owners can cope or probably love the harshness of Mini's suspension...well at least me myself love it ![]() |
