R99 - Tire choices...staggered?

I am going to order a set of R99 (gunmetalish color) come tuesday, but what set of tires should I place on them? I know they are 17x7 each, but can I go 205's in the front and 215's in the rear for that staggered look? or should I just got 205's all around? I know the ties will cost more if I decide to stagger them.

So far my tire choices are:
-Continental contisportcontact 2, but I hear they are wear down quick, but is really sticky.

-Dunlop SP sport 9000

No reason to stagger wheels/tires on a car that doesn't inherently oversteer. I would use 215/45-17 front and rear.

If you stagger your tyres the car will tend even further towards understeer. I wonder what the downsides to fitting wider tyres to the front would be? Never heard of it before but presumably it would just make oversteer more likely - anybody know of a reason not to do this?

What size of tire are you running on your R99s?

If you're gong to run stagger, why not do it with 215s up front and 205s in the back?

There's at least one forthcoming GM sedan (I think it's a Grand Prix variant, but feel free to correct me) that will run FWD stagger with the wider ones up front.

BBR did a similar thing by keeping size the same but putting the "better" make and model of tires (Goodyear F1s, IIRC) up front and a lesser spec on the rears.
