Is it ok to run 235's on 7.5" rims? Many people are saying that you have to have at least an 8" wheel to properly accomodate this size of tire. I currently have 215/40's on my 7.5" rims and they look like they would handle another 20mm with no problem. Has anyone done this? If so have you run into any problems?
My M3 had 235/40-17's on 7.5" inch rims, that was what BMW supplied the car with.
For a small car like the Mini thats getting pretty wide for some nice aquaplaning but
if you are sensible in the wet it'll look great . Oh and it's almost impossible to
kerb 7.5" rims that have 235's on.
Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs
