You don't have a spare tire ... the tires are runflats

Did you buy from a dealer, or private owner? The dealer should have told you all these things :|

They are right, the S doesn't have a spare for the sake of better tailpipes.

With the MINI ONE and COOPER you can pay for a spare wheel but the COOPER S has the battery in the boot (trunk) unlike the other two which have the battery under the bonnet(hood) because the spare usually sits underneath the boot there is no room for one with the COOPER S battery box well.I think thats about right anyway.You will have run flat tyres,alot of people ditch these and get non runflats and a can of tyre weld or similar,the non runflats are a damn sight cheaper and have a better ride than the stiff sidewalled runflats.Having said that i watched a programme over here last year called Fifth Gear where they tested runflats and i must admit that after watching that i may stick with runflats 'cos from a safety point of view they seemed well worth having.

D'UH!!! NO SPARE TIRE! i'm getting some 19" for it that's why i'm asking. better not drive too far away from home with it, huh?

Nope Headly, made them an offer online & when to pick it up! don't like to deal with saleman too much headache. went over filled out some papers & i was outta there, like a cat visting a dog pound!
