Cheap Dunlops

Kwik Fit are doing 4 Dunlops for the price of 3 right now.

That's across the whole range of sizes and types.

I had 4 new 16" RFs fitted last week before the offer began and they gave me 25% off anyway, which was good as this week, despite the fact that they have 25% off, the B*ggers have gone up £7.00 per tyre.

Haggle, they love it!

Haggling with Kwik Fit

Tried this before - it didn't work.

But........

Ordered from Tiger Tyres instead. They turned up and it was the bloke from Kwik Fit in his Kwik Fit Van! all at a 40% saving.

He was a little annoyed to be doing tiger tyres work and said that we should have told Kwikfir how much we were paying and they would have beaten it! Needless to say we tried that and they would not at the time.

The moral of the story is. Why give them the opportunity to quote against a genuinely reasonable quote when they should be giving good prices to begin with. After all Tiger Tyres will be making a profit otherwise they would not be in business!!

I know who I will use from now on.......

Run flats a little cloer to home

Hey guys, those sound like great prices for some of your run flats. But I'm afraid shipping would drive the price way up. Anybody here got any places to get run flats inexpensively? Maybe catch two now and get two more latter. Dealer said it would be $1600 to replace my tyres. Somebody give me a rope! $1600 is a trip to Oxford to tour the plant! And what about a group buy, I can make the phone calls.
