United-States tire pressure?????

I'm running Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 195/55R16 H rated run flats on my '05 Cooper. The plackard on the door says '35PSI; the manual states for this tire size, 1 to 4 passengers, under 100MPH 30lbs; over 100MPH 35 PSI. Should I use the 35 or 30 PSI for normal driving? It seems odd thet the door plackard would not match the manual for normal driving.

Anywhere from 30-35 will be fine.

30 will be grippier, but give you more wear on the shoulders of the tire over time.

35 Will be less grippy, probably give you better gas mileage, and wear the center of the tread 1st.

And don't forget to measure the pressure cold - not during a journey when the tire is hot!

Chris.
