hey! any one running the yoko's prada spec II?
they seem a viable alternative to the run-flats and are 90$ us a pop on tirerack.com
any comments would be great
Just to clear up the spelling, it's PARADA, not to be confused with the fahion apparel company
I very much like the Parada2, it's a great overall 3-season tire; good rolling resistance, good dry traction, good wet traction, doesn't squeal much at the limit, have good tread life, and as long as you keep 'em rotated, are reasonably quiet when rolling. Two thumbs up from me.
I have been running these tyres for about 5 months now and have been very happy with their performance. I have also done a track-day with them recenetly and they certainly prooved their worth giving great traction even on the limit.
Has anybody used this tire in the rain on the track. I'm considering these tires for daily use and for track day rain tires. Kumho V700 for dry track. Your feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks
Just switched to 18" Dare X4s with Yoki Paradas from S-spokes with runflats. The difference is enormous. the ride is much less harsh, its quieter, turns in sharper, grips FAR better and doesn't squeal like an extra from Bullitt
Plus, some random woman came up to me the other day and actually commented on how cool the tyres looked. Well worth it, then
