Makes sense

Was about a 1000 kay day for me last time we did it. Was totally knackered by the end of the day though - and I started from Sydney that morning too!

Thought you were just getting a harmonic balancer done? What happened to the flywheel?

Yeah.. as typical MINI stuff, they're all one big lot/package. Not that I care since it's all under warranty. But they said it's a "revised" flywheel/harmonic balancer, and it's heavier. I was like "Wtf?!? Heaver = slower = bad". But they're adamant it's an OEM part. So can't really complain. I'll see how it feels after it's installed. If it's worse then I'll go for a spec 1 clutch and a lightened flywheel. Now it's still alright, but the clutch grind is getting slightly worse.. hmm... oh well.. i'm doing abit of research atm for future goodies. Got the pulley, remap and headers in mind. All to be done the day right after my warranty expires! Stocking up now.... you know how it is.. buying bits and pieces.

Also looking at property around Hornsby... i.e. closer to PITS.. hahahaha

A bit of a drive.....
We live near Camden and it is not uncommon to drive to Canberra just to visit Pancake Parlour just for lunch

Yup... I've been told by the mrs, that mods on the MINI are ok as long as we can buy our own place by this time next yr. So have budgeted for the parts.. not the installs.. hahahaha.. I reckon the pulley and IC I can do... well not really, but Ben and I can have a go with help from a Mech maybe.. hehehehe. The header is one that I'd leave to the pros.
