The Aux cable isnt actually for the New Mini. It is for either a 3 series or 5 series , i cant remember which one , but it still works . i have had one since last summer and works fine

I believe it is for the 5 Series and Cooldood has quoted the correct part number.

this is true in the UK (and potentially europe), but there is an official MINI AUX in the states, which is made in germany. its the same cable and face-plate as the 5series but i wanted the MINI version so i could show my dealer the MINI part no. and instructions as she didnt believe me.

trust me.... it IS a MINI part (take a close look @ the writing in the packet)
