Timing chain

Hello!

I wonder if it is to change the timing chain of the MCS, for clearance or break?

There are some cases in the forum that has broken?

Thanks,

Nelson Costa

I haven't found any mention of a snapped timing chain anywhere on the MINI forums. I have another car (not a MINI) that also uses a chain and it is 25 years old with close to 200,000 miles on it. It is still on it's original chain.

Welcome to MINI2. You must be coming from a car that uses a toothed belt for timing?
