Tyre Sealant

Hi People,

For those of you that have swapped out the runflats, what tyre sealants do you carry in the car now, just in case, of punctures?

Also, what do you do about the pressure sensors when you've got new wheels?

Cheers

the flat tyres sensor works off the car abs sensors , ie a flat tyre rotates less than a tyre with air in it, so as long as the rolling diameter is the same as what came off the car all will be well,, otherwise the speedo would be incorrect

I have regular tires; I keep tire Plugs and an air compressor. Cheep easy to use and work awsome.

Sealant can be dangerous for the tire mechanics. Don't know your of your MINI, but, up to 05 system mentioned above. Non runflats are fine but sealant may damage $100 sensor. Plugs and compressor works as above.

Do you carry a jack as well? Otherwise without removing the wheel it may be hard to find the cause of the flat and also have adequate access to make a repair.
