Outside temperature sensor

Hi

I'm not getting the usual -40 reading, I'm just getting rather high readings, i.e. tonight was between 18-22 degrees when in reality it was about 4-5 outside; is this still likely to be a faulty sensor, rather than broken/unplugged from the -40 reading issue?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
