Question 2003 One D Cold Start Problem

Hey guys, partners has a 2003 Cooper D 1.4 , its on 130k ish miles i believe but for a while she was having intermittent starting issues, car would start 9/10 times , few months down the line car wont cold start on its own unless we get a bit of easy start on there and it turns over straight away. Once the engine is warm car start no problem.

Im assuming it could be Glow Plugs? Any Suggestions? TIA

edit* car turns over, no signs of lack off battery power, everything comes on fine

any white smoke at start up if so glowplugs, also if you switch ignition on for 5 seconds then off and right back on again for 5 seconds do this over and over for around 5 times does car start, if does then chances are its just a couple of plugs gone down. if makes no difference then either all 4 are knackered or the glow plug relay has failed,
