Fuel Filler opening on Cooper s

Ludicrous as it sounds but where is the fuel filler release lever/button on the BMW Cooper S 2007 Model please ??

You just open it. Doesn't have a release.

Well thats what I thought when the main doors are unlocked ??

My 07 S has no lock mechanism just grab and swing open anytime

Maybe try and swing it opens from the rear to the front. Grab the right side and pull

I have an 07 S too. It does have a locking mechanism on the fuel cap linked to the central locking system. The doors need to be unlocked to open it.
