Unhappy Removing the front bumper from an F56 mini cooper

Today I broke my front bumper

I believe this needs replacing with a new whole bumper. I have found a new bumper but have no idea how to remove the bumper?

If anyone has any videos or step by step guides as to how to remove the bumper it would be greatly appreciated

Hiya,

First up jack the car up and support it on axle stands.
Remove front wheels
remove undertray
Remove front grille
Remove inner arch liners
Disconnect lights by twisting bulbs out of their holders
From under the wheel arch squeeze the back of the clips of the wheel arch moulding and push them out until all are free. There may be little plugs where the moulding meets the bumper so pop these out too - lift arch moulding off.
Unpop the clips/ plugs from the under edge of front bumper
There should be a torx screw on each end of the bumper and 2 on the front at the top where the grille was - remove these and the bumper should fall away

Hope this helps

Undertray is usually a star screw, front grill should have 2 little tangs, one on each side that you spread out. Arch liner has plastic screws, star screw driver again. Its all pretty simple buddy
