England Watch out for cracked Air-Con Pipe

Hi Guys,

I have alrdy posted this in the Mini coup section

Just a little bit of advice that could help you out.

The Air Con stopped working on my Mini Coupe SD recently, luckily still under warranty. It looks like a aluminium pipe was rubbing on a water hose & it cracked, but i'm thinking it was because it wore through.

The lovely guys at BMW now do a little video to show u the problem which i think is great MINI Health Check from Sycamore BMW

So, soon as you can, get under your cars & take a look where mine went wrong. Will take just a moment & could save you a repair bill.

Good Luck

That looks quite common I had the same lucky I work in the motor trade so I got the part from my local BMW garage and got one of the guys to fit it and re gas it for me. The new part has a plastic sleeve on it so I'm sure BMW MINI know it's a problem
