Help me please EGR removal WTF !

Hi All

Hoping you can help, i now own a Cooper SD 2011 which ive had for over a year now, all has been great until recently when the car started to flutter between 12-1500revs long and short the fault code thrown was EGR flow so we took the car to be remapped and have the EGR deleted however this hasnt worked so we now need to blank off the EGR before i loose the plot the power is dropping MPG is crap so i need help

how do you remove this piece of the car AND where do you blank it my engine is the N47 2ltr Diesel i have googled this until the cows come home and there is absolutely HEEHAW videos showing you how to remove it and the Haynes manual is useless in its explanation !!!

Has anyone removed the EGR to clean it and has anyone blanked off their EGR the car is getting worse to the point where i am driving in the slow lane at 50 on my way home as its loosing power intermittently for a few seconds which is freaking me out !

Can any kind person help me PLEEEEEEEEEASE

Description of your problem is in faulty ERG valve and it would be the best to replace it ONLY with OEM EGR valve. We have the same R56 SD LCI with N47N engine ( 32.000 Km). this engine is in few Mini and BMW models and the problem with ERG valve is not quite serious as the exhaust gases which are recirculated back in the engine and they contain shot which sticks to the surfaces of cylinder head (inlet side), liner and piston and that for me is serious problem. So I put fuel additive every third reservoir (DIESEL ADDITIVE BMW Product number: 83-19-2-296-922 cost: $14) and there isn't any sticky residue of shot on exhaust side, ERG and turbo.

RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts
Catalog No. 11717801942 EGR-VALVE

And if you want to disable it would be the best to do it electronically through the ECU. Ecology's murdering our engine.
