2008 mini S, Stereo issues: can't eject cd, stereo buttons won't work.

Can't eject CD
steering wheel track select not working
volume control works. YAY.
whole cluster plays music but buttons won't work.
stereo cluster still show track.

Trying to figure out if this is a common issue

Didn't think folk still used CD's anymore. My 2008 and 2009 Clubmans have never seen a CD

I use CDs all the time. Mp3s and all that compressed stuff sounds like crap blowing through a fan.

OP......I had this happen once, I disconnected the battery for a few minutes, connected back up and all was normal again.

Might be worth a try.

Anything sounds that bad when compressed, if your system is capable of showing those shortcomings.

I doubt it would be noticeable on the shytty system mini have as standard but all my choons are streamed from my phone or USB and I wouldn't say the sound is poor in any sense but then again I'm old so I wouldn't know
