Dpf Warning light

Ok folks, first time posting and a newbie. 2008 cooper D R56, 80k miles. DPF warning light on. Took the car a for blast down the motorway for and hour, keeping the revs up and keeping speed up to 60-70mph. Light still on and still on after another few day's driving. question 1 ....where do I go from here?, 2/ Will the DPF eventually clear and will the light go out itself or will I have to get it put out by garage? 3/ should my car have the dreaded eolys bag buried under the floor. I guess it still must be ok as no warning saying otherwise. Are DPF cleaners any good eg Redex? Or do I replace the DPF
Any help appreciated.

at 80k its well on its time for replacement. volvo and ford use same engine and system on their service plan at 75.000 miles needs changing, also will need additive tank doing at same time, and all will need resetting after fitting with software, you can buy the software if a DIY kind of person can also buy the dpf part of filter only off ebay for 113, not a hard job to fit,,
the bad part is driving with one blocked will take out the turbo or even the engine at worst also it loads the engine oil with unburnt diesel as engine can reach a high temp to clean burn it off.
