timing chain tensioner updated difference,

below is picture of the two chain tensioner's fitted to all prince engines ie all gen 2 and newer, you will notice one is longer than the other ie the long one is the updated one that bmw in their eyes have cured the timing chain problems,, hmmm but everyone else knows it just moved to fault up the road by a few thousand miles on some cars, better stronger chain would of been the correct fix,,
so fall you people fitting aftermarket chain kits its worth buying the latest chain tensioner when replacing chain kit.. one thing will say the engine with the longer one in sounds so much better
