Channel swap?

is this worth doing on a 2011 Cooper Hatch?

also, how hard is to do with low technical ability?

If you google, should be a guide on how to somewhere, as it's a common mod some people do.

thanks

I've googled but more interested in whether people have fitted the newminibits channel swap - how easy to fit and whether improvement on a facelift car (2011) are worthwhile (the wedsite suggests less impactful than on a pre-facelift)

well, I've just done it...bought the part from newministuff...and all I can say is that it's well worth it...I'm a technophobe but it took me 15 mins and the sound improvement is very good...really recommend before you do anything else audio wise.

An aside for R57 owners, I tried this and not a jot of improvement as the rear speakers are the same size as the door speaker. For improved base in an R57 best stick in an underseat sub-woofer and added bonus is a treat for the person in the passenger seat (or driver if you prefer but you might lose concentration :-)

Cooper 2009, R57.
