Roof protector

Hi there, any recommendations for roof protector for my convertible.

In the past I have used the Autoglym kits but I find that the cleaner bottles last for ages but the proofer only does one and a bit applications so 8ve now got two cleaners and not protector. What do other people use?

I don't use anything other than washing it. Unless you have a desire for watching water bead and wasting money there is no need on a modern roof as it is 100% waterproof with several layers of rubber.

I found a recommendation for this Porsche Cabriolet Top Protectant and Waterproofer product and it worked well for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Protects Cabriolet Tops against UV deterioration, bird droppings, and more
- Retreats for water repellency
- 400 ml aerosol.

Although it's for Porsche Cabriolets, it worked great on my MINI. I wanted the UV guard as well as the water protection, but totally understand above post. I've used the MINI dealership protectant and it didn't have as good results. But I think that could have been due to many factors. In any case, this one is less than $25 on Amazon. Cheers.

Now I am Looking forward to the commute! MINI Cooper S Cabrio
