Mini roof lights

Hey guys,

Just wondering how many people have lights on the roof of their mini?

I have been looking at getting extra lights for my Mini I keep on seeing the rally lights for the grille but I am just not sold on them as I have the factory driving lights beside them already and I personally think it would look cluttered.

I want to put the lights on the roof but can't find any kits, maybe I am just not using the right key words? also I have a panoramic roof... I don't see any problem with that but hey I don't wanna buy it and find out the thing is too low that would be the worst.

anyways I just wanted to hear other enthusiasts opinions

Additional lights at the front look too cluttered but on the roof they're ok for you?

I've not seen a MINI with roof lights, not sure whether there are kits available but why not make your own? Get a single roof bar and mount your lights on that. Should clear your sunroof easy enough as well.

Do make sure you post a picture when you've done it.

Hope this helps

Just personal preference mate, I can see what you mean though.

That is what I am thinking I would have to do, put it in a parallel circuit with the front driving lights and up the fuse if I have to. running the wires are another story, I would probably run them through the bar on the roof until I reach the pillars, from there maybe under the pillars? it will take a bit of thinking.
