Enthusiasts don't tend to lease cars buddy. Enthusiasts buy cars as keepers and I'd certainly never lease a car for X amount of years only to hand it back at the term and have nothing. 3 of my Minis I own outright and the 4th car (my wife's) will be mine next year once the finance is paid off

Sean, I think this is a double post (with slightly different wording). Jcshin you must be keen to get rid of it!!

the finance company wont let you do that anyway. Call and find out the lease buyout and offer it for sale.

It would appear so Nigel, How can you "absolutely love" your Mini one minute then be desperate to get rid of it the next?

Patter of tiny feet? Redundancy? Well no such thing in the US, they just bin you immediately, as they wish, no reason required. Zero job security.

There is that reason but surely you can do a deal with a dealership to exchange the motor for a different one?
