I have a question, My engine light was scanned and the technician thinks that low octane gas caused the problem! If so and I continue to put good high octane gas in , will my computer see problem as fixed, and will engine light eventually turn off?

if thats the only code its likely an exhaust leak. a quick google search will show lists of other things to consider (none relates to fuel quality)
