If the car didn't come with OEM Xenon or LED then you'll probably be looking at great expense to retro fit them and to make them MOT compliant.
You can also look and try for aftermarket kits. You'll probably need to find ones which are for road legal use.

It would be a good idea going BMW/MINI but not sure how much it'll costs.
As yours is only done 49K miles and is within the service interval I think you'll be fine.
The problems comes is when people misses 2/3 services and the car is over 100K+ miles and then decide to change.
