I need help figuring out what is wrong with my 2013 mini cooper. The check engine light came on so I hooked it up to a OBD II scanner and it threw 3 separate ambient air temperature too hot codes. Does anyone know why it would be doing this? Is it going to be a larger problem down the road?
I've recently installed from scratch an Outside/Ambient Air tempreture Sensor on my 2002 Mini One R50 as the speedo I had retrofitted also, showed -40.
Turns out there was not one actually installed, which makes sense as there was not even a rev counter with the car, so I did it myself.
