My Nephew has an R56 Cooper Soho, with 76k on the clock. He says it’s developed the ‘death rattle’ .... although I understood that that particular fault was only on the S and JCW (?) ?

Am I correct, and if so what else could a similar ‘rattle’ be a symptom of?
