125kw or 120kw

Hi all, I am a little confused, I have just purchased a 2004 MCS. It was built April 2004 and registered in November 2004. According to my V5 it has 120kw engine model and 202 G/KM emissions. I have checked car on 2 VIN sites and they both say my engine is 125kw. Has anyone else had this?
It pops and bangs from exhaust when revved while stationary, thanks.

The VIN sites will be correct. Takes a while for the DVLA to catch up!!

1st Gen MINI Cooper S models built prior to July 2004 are 120 kW.

When did they actually launch the facelift? Gets a bit confusing.

Facelift production began July 2004.
